The Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns have had discussions about a trade centered around Eric Bledsoe and point guard Emmanuel Mudiay, according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.
The Nuggets have had reported interest in Bledsoe dating back to the draft when the point guard’s name first emerged in trade rumors. There would also be other pieces included in the deal if it was agreed upon, according to Scotto.
Sunday afternoon Bledsoe tweeted “I don’t wanna to be here.”
Fallout from the tweet gained legs Monday morning, the day after the Suns fired head coach Earl Watson when reports began to emerge that Bledsoe wasn’t in Phoenix’s future plans and that a trade was imminent.
