Report: Darrell Arthur picks up player option with Denver Nuggets

Denver Nuggets reserve forward Darrell Arthur has exercised his player option for the 2018-19 season, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania.

Arthur, who will make nearly $7.5 million with Denver next season, played in 19 games with one start in 2017-18 and averaged 2.8 points. His biggest value to the Nuggets is as one of their biggest veteran leaders, thanks to his career featuring a stint on Memphis’ playoff teams from 2010-13.

“He’s pretty much done everything that we want to do,” guard/forward Will Barton said last season. “… It’s different hearing it from a guy like that.
