As part of the NBA’s fifth annual Canada Series, the Denver Nuggets will play their first preseason game against the Toronto Raptors tonight at 7 pm MST at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta.
The game will feature rookie Jamal Murray in his first taste of official NBA action. Murray was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario and played high school basketball there. He has also represented Canada at both the 2013 FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship and the 2015 Pan American Games, where he helped the team win a silver medal.
The Nuggets will play a total of eight preseason games with the first of two at Pepsi Center against the Golden State Warriors on Oct.
