The Denver Nuggets as expected made a minor move at this year’s trade deadline. The Nuggest sent guard Randy Foye to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for guard D.J. Augustin, forward Steve Novak and two second round picks in this year’s draft. Foye has spent the last three seasons with Denver and has been a pro’s pro in his time with the team.
He was one of the few positive influences in Denver’s locker room during the streneous and short-lived Brian Shaw era. Foye now gets a chance to help a title contender out in the Thunder, bringing much needed shooting, experience and scoring to their bench.
