Shabazz Napier didn’t get much time to get comfortable in Denver — or any.
The recently acquired point guard was sent to Washington just before Thursday’s 1 p.m. trade deadline for Wizards guard Jordan McRae, a source confirmed.
McRae, a 6-foot-5 guard, has played off and on this season for the Wizards, posting averages of 12.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 29 games. He is shooting nearly 38% from 3-point range this season and is a career 36.4% shooter from deep. He hasn’t played the last four games due to a right ankle injury, but is expected to return Friday.
