The Nuggets face Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at Pepsi Center, and though they need all hands on deck to contain him, they’ll do so with a shell of a basketball team. The Nuggets will have only 10 healthy players.
“We’ll go out there with the bodies that we have,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said Friday.
Listed as out for the game are Danilo Gallinari (thigh), Will Barton (personal reasons), Gary Harris (foot), Juancho Hernangomez (ankle) and Mike Miller (personal reasons). It leaves the Nuggets with a shortage of wing players in a game in which keeping Westbrook out of the lane is paramount.
