MILWAUKEE – Denver’s feel-good comeback was momentarily interrupted early in the fourth quarter Friday night when Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. went up to contest a layup and rolled his right ankle on the landing.
It didn’t appear to be anything significant in the immediate aftermath of their win.
“I think he rolled his ankle a little bit,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said. “He’s in good spirits back there, don’t think it’s anything serious.”
Porter didn’t return over the final 10:27 of Denver’s road win after initially writhing in pain on the ground.
Asked how he was feeling, Porter told assembled reporters: “I’m good, I think I just rolled my ankle, but I’m good.
