With a roster spot open after Thomas Welsh was waived, the Nuggets agreed to terms with former South Carolina star PJ Dozier on a one-year deal, according to an ESPN report.
The 6-foot-6 guard spent last season on a two-way contract with Boston, where he appeared in six games and averaged of 3.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists per contest. In his rookie season the year before that, Dozier appeared in two games with Oklahoma City.
Dozier was a central figure on South Carolina’s 2017 Final Four team, averaging 13.
