PHOENIX – They might be wholly unpolished, but the Suns still have talent on their team.
Phoenix exploited a night of Nuggets miscues and took advantage of a team playing its fourth game in six nights for an impressive 102-93 victory Saturday night. The Nuggets threatened numerous times to keep it a tight game, but 17 turnovers leading to 26 points for the Suns undermined that effort.
Nikola Jokic had 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Malik Beasley poured in 21 points, including five 3-pointers. Neither effort could undo a 38 percent shooting night, featuring a 4-of-17 performance from Jamal Murray.
