Nuggets select Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland: How the national media graded Denver’s NBA draft pick

The Nuggets beefed up their backcourt Thursday, selecting VCU guard Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland with the 26th pick in the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-3, 165-pound Hyland averaged 19.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the Rams last season and shot 44.7% from the field, including 37.1% from beyond the arc.

CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish and Kyle Boone (Grade: B+): “He was a little outside my top 30, but a lot of people I respect had him in this range. He’s a scoring guard who should be able to shoot with NBA range.
