Nuggets seize incredible win from the Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY – Five players were injured and two players were caught in NBA trade purgatory.

That didn’t stop Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets from stunning the Utah Jazz Wednesday night. Denver had just seven players at their disposal, and it didn’t matter. They earned their most improbable – and unlikely – win of the season in Wednesday’s 98-95 thriller.

Jokic drained a one-footed jumper with a minute to go and Gary Harris nailed two clutch free throws to ice the win. It capped one of Jokic’s most marvelous performances of the season, finishing with 30 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists.
