If Michael Porter Jr. had any apprehensions about his upcoming professional debut, he didn’t let on that they were getting to him.
Porter is expected to take the floor Tuesday night in the Denver Nuggets’ preseason opener in Portland, almost 19 months since his last game at Missouri. When Denver’s 2018 lottery pick finally makes his debut, it will be the culmination of an extensive rehab process that forced him to “red-shirt” all of last season while recovering from his second back surgery. His highly anticipated debut was delayed, again, this past summer after he suffered a knee sprain just days before Las Vegas Summer League.
