The Josh Childress era in Denver has come to an abrupt end for the Nuggets.
After signing a short contract with the organization, the team has decided to part ways with the former Big3 member as training camp and preseason action comes to a close. Many speculated Childress was nothing more than an extra player for camp when he was signed and it would seem this speculation was correct.
Childress had NBA experience before he played in the Big3 league and he got another opportunity with the Denver Nuggets. If fans are being honest, the Childress signing was at the very least intriguing as the Nuggets only have two true small forwards on the roster with Wilson Chandler and Torrey Craig.
