Before tip-off of Game 1 of the Nuggets’ NBA playoff series against the Spurs, a sell-out crowd at Pepsi Center was treated to an elaborate pre-game light show, with thousands of LED lights synced with music, and flames shooting high in the air.
Crowds are used to seeing fans hold up their cellphone lights to create a light show, but this was different.
“What you see is not phones but wristbands given out to each fan that is perfectly synced to the DJ,” tweeted Duvalier Johnson of Mile High Sports. “The #Nuggets are ready for this playoff run and made sure the fans were decked out as well.
