Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic said he deserved to get ejected Saturday night.
That much he conceded.
But he also lamented how difficult it is to keep his emotions in check when he feels he’s being unfairly whistled.
“It’s extremely hard because it’s not equal for everybody,” Jokic said in the aftermath of the Nuggets’ 102-100 victory over the Pacers, the second consecutive game Denver has won on a game-clinching basket.
Jokic was called for a foul while trying to corral an offensive rebound with 2:56 remaining against Pacers center Myles Turner. He blew a gasket at official Tony Brothers and immediately drew two technical fouls and the boot.
