Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets to a 3-0 start to open 2018-19 NBA season, and the league took noticed.
Jokic was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday, the third time he has won the award in his career. The 23-year-old center averaged 10.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 26.3 points, shooting 63.2 percent from the field. Against Phoenix on Saturday, he became the first player in NBA history to post a triple-double with more than 30 points on 11 or fewer field-goal attempts.
Jokic is the sixth player in Nuggets history to earn the award three or more times.
