Most of the home locker room had cleared out late Wednesday night before DeAndre Jordan approached Nikola Jokic at his personal stall.
He wanted to see the Michael Jordan trophy — the MVP trophy, which had only recently been renamed by the NBA. In the aftermath of Denver’s 141-128 win over the Wizards, Nuggets coach Michael Malone presented the trophy to Jokic in front of his teammates.
