The Denver Nuggets are never going to be as glamorous as the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat or New York Knicks. If you cannot accept that fact, you may as well start accepting it now.
However, that does not mean Denver can’t still turn some heads. Mid market teams are still capable of being great in this league, just look no further than the San Antonio Spurs. Denver needs to start embracing the Rocky Balboa mindset.
Think about it, if L.A. is Apollo Creed, then the one who dethrones him is a relatively unknown fighter from Philadelphia that gets criminally overlooked.
