Denver Nuggets’ rookie Jamal Murray played the entire season through a sports hernia, Altitude Sports’ Christopher Dempsey reports. Murray will seek treatment on his hernia this summer and is expected to be ready for training camp in September.
Watching Murray during his rookie campaign, it was tough to tell that the 20-year-old was suffering. Murray was the only Nuggets’ player to appear in all 82 regular-season games and dealt with right groin soreness in early February but didn’t miss any time. The No. 7 overall pick in last summer’s draft averaged 9.9 points on 40.
