Nuggets’ Jamal Murray outscores Raptors by himself in the fourth quarter: “It was about time I made it”

Nikola Jokic can’t do it all, though it sometimes seem like he can.

The Nuggets had weathered a flurry of buckets from Toronto’s franchise forward Kawhi Leonard and had managed to saw a 13-point deficit to just four heading into the fourth quarter.

To that point, Jokic had 22 points and was resorting to circus shots he said he practices in the gym.

But if the Nuggets (20-9) were going to beat the Eastern Conference’s best team for the second time in less than two weeks, it was going to take a fountain of production from Jamal Murray, whose only basket to that point was a first-quarter 3-pointer.
