The Denver offseason was largely centered around Ty Lawson. Therefore, Nuggets free agency consisted of resigning their own players, rather than trying to grab free agents. This is despite obvious weaknesses in the rotation, most notably at shooting guard.
According to BSN Denver, Nuggets GM Tim Connelly was on Mile High Sports Radio. Connelly discussed the possibility of bringing in other players.
“We made a bunch of calls during prior and right after the draft, pretty aggressively trying to add some pieces we liked,” Connelly said. “Now given the market, were not overly impressed with the names we could potentially get we don’t want to make a move to make a move.
