Now, the Nuggets' first-round draft pick is getting ready to unveil himself to America all over again. When the Nuggets' summer-league team plays this weekend, it will be his first game stateside since leaving high school.
"I didn't go to college, so everybody is kind of sleeping on me, I guess you can say," Mudiay said. "But, you know, let them keep sleeping. I'm just going to go out there and play my game and do what I've been doing since I was 6 years old.
