DENVER, Oct. 21, 2016 – The Denver Nuggets have exercised the fourth-year options for both Gary Harris and Jusuf Nurkiu0107 and exercised the third-year option for Emmanuel Mudiay, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly announced today.
Harris, 6-4, 210, was drafted with the 19th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft by Chicago and was acquired by Denver in a draft-night trade. He has appeared in 131 games (82 starts) in his first two seasons, averaging 8.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.03 steals in 24.1 minutes per game.
Nurkiu0107, 7-0, 280, was drafted with the 16th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft by Chicago and was acquired by Denver in the same draft-night trade along with Harris.
