The Nuggets postponed their Summer League mini-camp in Las Vegas due to a positive COVID-19 test and subsequent contact tracing, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post.
The Nuggets were scheduled to have six practices over five days this week starting Tuesday. But the team canceled its first two sessions, citing only “health and safety protocols,” with player and practice availability unknown ahead of its first game Sunday against Miami.
The NBA established separate COVID-19 protocols for vaccinated and unvaccinated players/staff during its Summer League competition.
Fully vaccinated players are not required to quarantine after close contact with an individual who tested positive.
