You don’t have to tell Nuggets coach Michael Malone that attendance at the Pepsi Center for Nuggets games has fallen dramatically.
He’s spent a lot of time talking to anyone he can on the subject, inside and outside of the organization, searching for answers more complex than winning more games would help a lot. He knows that, and vows to take care of that part of the equation.
Last season the Nuggets were last in the league with an average attendance of 14,095 per game.
“The simple answer is this: We have to give our fans a product that they are excited about and can be proud of,” Malone said.
