NEW YORK – In tidy, dominating fashion, the Nuggets took care of their business on Thursday night against the lowly Knicks.
After consecutive losses to Sacramento and Los Angeles exposed several weaknesses, first with complacency and second with their outside shooting, the Nuggets momentarily remedied both against one of the worst teams in the NBA.
“This is a business trip and our guys approached it the right way tonight,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said after his team’s 129-92 throttling at Madison Square Garden.
Malone, in keeping with a trend lately, didn’t hold a mandatory shootaround for his team.
