COLORADO SPRINGS — The speed of the Nuggets first preseason game never quite set well with new coach Michael Malone, whose team will have had just three days of practice before it travels to face the L.A. Clippers late Friday night.
But it isn’t all bad, he said.
Malone talked about pros and cons of playing a game so quickly after starting training camp.
“The cons are that, (the Clippers) started practice on the 26th because they’re going to China (to play in the NBA Global Games),” Malone said. “We feel like we’re kind of coming in and you haven’t had a chance to put as many things as you probably would like to have.
