Bones Hyland got his Suns indoctrination on Thursday night.
Hyland wasn’t in Denver last season as the Suns steamrolled the Nuggets in the second round, but the budding rookie has more or less been grandfathered into the burgeoning rivalry.
“I feel that from all the animosity, from the first man on the team to the last man on the team,” Hyland said of Thursday’s 140-130 loss to Phoenix. “It’s a lot of animosity, a lot of competitiveness. A lot of talking, a lot of trash talking. … It’s what makes the joy of the game. It’s competitive.
