Nuggets announce free-agent signings of Tyler Cook, PJ Dozier

The Nuggets’ anticipated signings of free agents Tyler Cook and PJ Dozier were announced Tuesday morning by the franchise.

As was reported Monday night by The Post’s Mike Singer, Denver signed Cook to a two-way deal and Dozier to a training camp contract with an opportunity to make the roster or earn a two-way spot.

The 6-foot-9 Cook is an undrafted free agent out of Iowa, where he starred for three seasons with averages of 14.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 93 games. He appeared in three games with the Nuggets’ Summer League team in July, averaging 4.
