With a decade in Colorado sports coming to a close, The Denver Post takes a look at the best players from 2010 through 2019 for each of Denver’s major professional franchises. Here’s the Nuggets’ all-decade team:
Center
Nikola Jokic (2015-present)
Numbers: 338 games, 16.4 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 5.3 apg, 24.7 PER.
Rundown: If we’re selecting a Nuggets player of the decade, it’s the Joker hands down. Aside from the 34 triple-doubles, master-level passing and clutch shots, Big Honey was the centerpiece of the only Denver team to win a playoff series this decade, as well as the franchise’s first All-NBA first-team pick since David Thompson all the way back in 1977-78.
