Fresh off of posting a stat line that hasn’t been seen since 1968, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic on Monday was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week.

It’s the first time this season the reigning two-time MVP has won the weekly award and 12th time in his career, the most in franchise history.

The 27-year-old averaged 36.0 points, 17.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists while shooting 62.3% from the floor in three games. He led Denver to a 2-1 record last week, capped off by a 40-point, 27-rebound and 10-assist performance in Sunday night’s win over the Hornets.
