Marko Kavgic had never gotten a tattoo before but said to himself if his favorite basketball player won the National Basketball Association’s most valuable player award, he’d go for it.
Denver Nuggets star center and fellow Serbian Nikola Jokic became the first player in club history to win MVP earlier this month. True to his own word, Kavgic spent four hours in an artist’s chair.
“I am a long-time basketball fan, but four years ago, Nikola caught my attention because he was nonathletic but a genius player,” Kavgic said.
