Nikola Jokic will not be a starter in the All-Star Game this year, but he will play for Team LeBron after he was the sixth reserve selected in the all-star draft Thursday night.
Jokic will be making his second straight all-star appearance when he laces up his sneakers in Chicago on Feb. 16.
Jokic told Denver Post beat reporter Mike Singer how happy he was to be named an All-Star reserve back in January.
“I’m more happy just because I know how it was there,” Jokic said. “I’m really happy to be around those guys, I’m really enjoying every moment there.
