In the midst of a sea of bad injury news, the Nuggets have a ray of hope that the team’s most important player will be available to play Friday. Nikola Jokic has been steadily improving, and has his best chance to play since he sustained a left hip injury last week.
The second-year center has been upgraded to questionable for Friday’s game against Milwaukee. In an interview with The Denver Post after the Nuggets’ loss to Memphis on Wednesday night, Jokic said he felt good. Nuggets coach Michael Malone has been noting Jokic’s improvement since suffering a left hip flexor strain.
