On Wednesday March 9th, 2016, students and teachers across the state of Colorado competed in the NBA Math Hoops City Championship Tournament at the Wings over the Rockies Air & Space Museum located outside of Denver.
The tournament was conducted in a round-robin format, with all teams competing in three games and top participants advancing to Final Four and championship rounds. The final pitted one team from Denver Green School against another from Bradley International School. The Denver Green team ultimately won in a close match. As a reward for their efforts, students from both teams enjoyed the Nuggets game on Saturday, March 12th against the Washington Wizards.
