In recent days coaches throughout the NBA have articulated their thoughts on the newly elected president Donald J. Trump. Steve Kerr of the Warriors and Stan Van Gundy of the Pistons have taken the time to shed light on how they have understood the election thus far and Nuggets head coach Michael Malone added himself to this list today.

“Maybe we should’ve seen it coming over the last 10 years. You look at society, you look at what’s popular. People are getting paid millions of dollars to go on TV and scream at each other, whether it’s in sports or politics or entertainment, and I guess it was only a matter of time before it spilled into politics.
