Monte Morris has agreed to a three-year, $4.8 million contract with the Denver Nuggets, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post Thursday evening. The first two years of the deal are guaranteed.
The signing will convert Morris from a two-way deal to a full NBA contract and fill the final spot on Denver’s 15-man roster. Morris, a 2017 second-round draft pick, played in three games for the Nuggets last season but spent most of his time with the G League’s Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He averaged 17.8 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 37 games in the for Rio Grande Valley.
