On Saturday, the Los Angeles Lakers lost, 128-115, to the Pelicans, who were playing without Anthony Davis, in New Orleans, a loss that marked the first time since his second year in the league in 2004-05 that a team led by James has dipped below .500 at this point of the season.
“Everyone’s so accustomed to the losses that I’m just not accustomed to,” James said after the Lakers dropped to 29-30. “I’m not accustomed to it.
