Kroenke Sports and Entertainment announced today that if the Denver Nuggets advance to round two of the NBA playoffs that 18,300 fans will be allowed inside Ball Arena. That is 90 percent capacity of the stadium, which is up from the 10,500 (57.3 percent) from the first round. If the Nuggets do indeed play a Game 7 on Saturday, attendance for that game will stay at the previous number since it’s still a first round game.
This is phenomenal for not just Nuggets fans, but Avalanche fans as well. Ball Arena is going to be rocking as both teams make a push for a championship and even though the arena is not at full capacity, it’s still pretty close.
