Friday’s Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage holds a special place in Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried’s heart. He has two moms — Carol and Waudda — who have been together for 13 years.
“Nobody can ever tell me I can’t have two mothers because I really do,” Faried says in a 2013 YouTube clip advcocating civil-union laws.
In response to the ruling, which declared that same-sex couples have the right to marry anywhere in the U.S., Faried took to Twitter.
“Love conquers all!” he tweeted Friday morning. “#SameSexMarriage finally legal in all 50 States!
