SACRAMENTO – All Jamal Murray wanted to do was get back to his locker room stall.
But in order to do that, Murray had to weave through the crowd of Nuggets players and staffers that were gathered around a TV screen watching the end of Houston-Golden State on Thursday night.
After his night, which elicited comparisons to Superman and video games, you’d have thought they would’ve gotten out of his way.
Murray scored 34 of his 36 points in the second half against the Kings, including a rolling tidal wave of 3-pointers that ultimately overtook Sacramento.
