In this episode, I share my notes from Denver’s 104-103 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. The Nuggets were ice cold to open the game and then fell into a rut of turning the ball over and forcing shots, namely the team’s lead guards, Will Barton and Jamal Murray.
In many ways, this game laid bare just how much of an impact Murray has on the team. Bad Murray helped bury the Nuggets, down 21 points in the first half. Good Murray helped rally the Nuggets back within a point. How quickly he learns to become good Murray will determine how quickly the Nuggets can transform into a true contender.
