The Denver Nuggets were in desperate need of a victory on Thursday night at Ball Arena against the Golden State Warriors. A victory would put their record at 6-6 through 12 games and give them a proverbial “fresh start” for the following 60 games.
Well, the Nuggets were able to accomplish just that behind another outstanding performance from their superstar big man, Nikola Jokic. Denver was able to capture a 114-104 victory over Golden State behind Jokic’s 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.
It was Jokic’s fifth triple-double already this season and the 46th of his career.
