Nikola Jokic didn’t turn in the flashiest performance on Friday night. It was his starting point guard Jamal Murray that led his team in scoring and hit some of the game’s biggest shots. But as he’s wont to do, Jokic dominated this game in a quiet fashion.
Jokic has had success with the Steven Adams matchup in the past and he did it to him again on Friday dropping 23 points on 10-for-16 shooting and inhaling 16 rebounds. The assists weren’t there in this one but that didn’t stop Jokic from putting his finger prints all over the 115-105 victory.
