There weren’t many notable sequences that occurred during the Denver Nuggets game against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, but that didn’t stop Jerami Grant from having himself a night.
Coming off the bench, Grant chipped in 29 points, a career high, on just 15 shots in 29 minutes. The Nuggets backup forward went 12-of-15 from the field and 3-of-5 from behind the three-point line, showing off his versatile inside-outside game against an outmatched opponent. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray could have had more points than they did, but some of those extra scoring opportunities went to Grant, and he delivered.
