The Nuggets and Hawks opened summer league play against each other, and the Nuggets rolled to a victory. Not on Thursday.
The Hawks played much better from the start and beat the Nuggets 82-73 in the second round of the Las Vegas summer league tournament. It was the Nuggets' first loss in the summer league.
Emmanuel Mudiay, who had 11 points and generally did what he wanted against Atlanta on July 10, was held to eight points Thursday. He had three rebounds and one assist.
