Game Breakdown: Nuggets (Finally) Beat Sacramento

Whether that rumor was “fake news” or not, it is hard not to contend that a normally docile Wilson Chandler didn’t come out playing with an unseen fire in his eyes in the first quarter. Wilson led both teams in the first quarter, shooting 5 for 6 from the field and 2 for 3 behind the three point line. This 16 points broke a career high in a quarter for the temperamental shooting forward. Maybe Coach Malone should bench him more often? (He ended up joking as much in the post game.)

On the King’s side of the court, Darren Collison equally came out hot again like he did the previous match-ups against the Nuggets.
