The Nuggets and head coach Mike Malone are putting the final touches on his coaching staff, and, according to a source, one of those new faces will be a familiar one: Ryan Bowen.
Bowen played five seasons with the Nuggets from 1999-2004, as part of a 10-year NBA playing career. He was a fan favorite because of his constant hustle on the court. After his retirement in 2009, Bowen also grabbed a spot on Denver's bench under then coach George Karl.
He was most recently an assistant under Malone in Sacramento.
In college, Bowen had a standout four-year career at the University of Iowa, posting 14.
