SAN DIEGO – Aaron Gordon didn’t hide from the truth.
His maiden postseason in Denver wasn’t what he’d envisioned after requesting a trade out of Orlando last winter. First, the role he played against Portland and Phoenix in the playoffs wasn’t close to the role he’d occupied before Jamal Murray got hurt. And second, he wasn’t healthy.
“I felt disgusting coming out of those playoffs,” Gordon told The Denver Post this past week. “I felt like my touch was gone, I felt like I wasn’t playing to the capability that I know that I can. It was ugly, especially that Phoenix game.
