LAS VEGAS — Emmanuel Mudiay, the No. 7 pick in the NBA draft June 25, contributed 19 points and a game-high 10 assists to the Nuggets' 98-76 rout of the Sacramento Kings at Cox Pavilion on Sunday.
Mudiay, a 19-year-old guard, played a big role as Denver improved to 2-0 in the summer league on the UNLV campus. He committed six turnovers in 35½ minutes of playing time but also hit 7-of-15 shots and made three steals. Sacramento dropped to 0-2.
The Nuggets received 19 points from Ian Clark, a guard from Belmont. Erick Green, a former NCAA scoring king at Virginia Tech, contributed 16 points off the bench.
